Chase Joinery

We were engaged to deliver a complete brand package - including identity, strategy, and a high-performance website - that positions Chase Joinery as a premium choice in the competitive building and interiors sector.
The Challenge
The joinery industry is often fragmented by local contractors who lack a cohesive digital presence, making it difficult for premium clients and architects to distinguish high-quality craftsmanship from standard labor. Chase Joinery needed to transcend the typical "tradesman" look to build an enterprise-grade brand that reflects their actual level of precision. The challenge was to create an identity that felt rugged and grounded in the workshop ("Night" and "Seasalt" tones) yet clean and sophisticated enough for high-end architectural presentations.
Our Strategic Approach
Our methodology focused on "Crafted Authority," ensuring every brand touchpoint reinforces the idea of precision and bespoke quality. The strategic goal was to balance the physical, tactile nature of joinery with a modern digital experience that simplifies the client’s journey from consultation to completion. By establishing a neutral, sophisticated color palette—utilizing Night (#36363c) and Seasalt (#f3f2f1)—we ensured the brand remains a quiet, confident backdrop to the high-quality wood and finishings of the projects themselves. This approach moves the conversation from generic labor to a specialized, architectural partnership.

The Solution
We developed a streamlined visual identity that reflects structured reliability and attention to detail.
- The Visual Mark: We crafted a bold, typographic logo for CHASE JOINERY that emphasizes stability and architectural structure.
- Typography: The identity uses a clean, sans-serif system to ensure absolute legibility across technical drawings, site signage, and digital platforms.
- Color Palette: We implemented a palette of Night and Seasalt, providing a high-contrast, professional aesthetic that avoids the typical high-visibility colors of the trade sector.
- Digital Experience: We designed and developed a bespoke Webflow website (chasejoinery.co.uk) that serves as a digital portfolio, showcasing project high-resolution galleries and clear service structures.

The Results
The result is a polished, professional identity that elevates Chase Joinery to a "Tier-One" market position.
- Alignment: The brand now matches the precision of the physical joinery work, providing a credible "front door" for architects and developers.
- Confidence: By moving to a sophisticated architectural aesthetic, the brand inspires trust in their ability to handle high-value, complex projects.
- Market Standing: The new digital presence and identity provide Chase Joinery with the tools to compete for high-end contracts, moving the business from local contractor to architectural specialist.

"This isn't the first time we have worked with Clark&Waugh and it won't be the last. We have been around for a while and have relied on word of mouth and having good contacts within our industry for repeat work - but times change and trades businesses more than ever need to change with those times. Clark&Waugh understood what our clients and partners need to see, hear and feel from our rebranding and delivered a package that delivers at the same level we strive to deliver our own craft."
